  • Identity documents (ID card): For sellers: front/back copy of national ID, masked number on public side, birth and expiry dates. Secure storage, admin-only access to verify authenticity (one ID = one shop).

2. USE OF YOUR DATA AND CONSENT

By creating a shop or account on PONT DU COMMERCE, you give explicit consent for processing your data. It is used exclusively to:

  • Create, authenticate, and display your online shop.
  • Facilitate direct contact with buyers in your area.
  • Manage subscription reminders and your account status.
  • Ensure moderation and security by detecting suspicious behavior, verifying seller authenticity, and protecting buyers.
  • Verify seller identity (KYC) before shop activation and the verified seller badge.

3. DATA SHARING AND JUDICIAL COOPERATION

We make a clear commitment: PONT DU COMMERCE will never sell your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes. However, under our zero-tolerance anti-scam policy (see our GTU), your data may lose confidentiality in case of illegal activity. In case of proven fraud, scam, or judicial request, all your information (identity, phone number, IP address) will be transmitted to competent Togolese authorities.

4. SECURITY AND CONTROL OF YOUR INFORMATION

We deploy strict technical measures to prevent unauthorized access to your information.

You remain in control of your data: at any time, you can update your shop details or request permanent deletion of your account and listings from our servers by contacting administration.
